About 60 people living at Mobile Home Manor on Grand River Avenue may be losing their homes.
The landowner, William Lacey, wants to kick everyone off the property, rezone the nearly 10 acres, and sell it to Capstone Development. Capstone, would then likely turn the old trailer park into condos.
But people living there say they can't afford to move anywhere else.
Lacey, says regardless if the Meridian Township Planning Commission votes to rezone the area, he still plans on closing the park.
"The cost of maintaining it far exceeds the value," said Lacey.
The Planning Commission is expected vote February 14. The Township board would then have to vote.
