Crews Clean I-96 After Deadly Pileup

Battling sheets of rain, whipping wind and one lane of traffic, crews removed the last vehicle involved in Wednesday's deadly pileup on I-96.

Three flatbed trucks loaded pallets from the overturned semi trailer and then two tow trucks pulled it out of the muddy median Thursday near mile marker 118 on westbound 96. Traffic was slowed to one lane of traffic for about three hours in the afternoon.

The only evidence remaining now is some yellow police tape and scattered vehicle parts.
