Late Night Shootout Leaves One Man Dead, Another Clinging to Life

Martell Coker, 18, of Lansing is dead and another man is in critical condition after a shootout Monday night near Frandor. It happened just before 11 p.m. on Fairway Lane.

Sgt. David Emmons, of the Lansing Police Department, says three or four people came to the home and after an altercation two people were shot. An 18-year-old resident of the home, Coker, is dead; a 27-year-old who was at the home is in critical condition. Police do not know why he was at the home, there may have been up to 10 people there at the time.

Here's a rough description of the people police want to question:

Male - white coat, blue jeans
Male - dark clothing
Male or Female - no clothing description

They could be driving in a two door, mid-1990s Oldsmobile Cutlass either turquoise or medium blue in color.
