Warning for Ice Anglers

Anglers will need to use caution on most ice in the lower portions of the state, where warm temperatures along with rain and strong winds have deteriorated the ice, the state Department of Natural Resources said Wednesday in its weekly fishing report.

The DNR urged anglers to watch for offshore winds when fishing the large bodies of water. Most inland waters to the north reported fair to good ice conditions, the DNR said.
