Local Schools Help With Tsunami Relief

Students from more than 35 different countries attend Red Cedar Elementary School in East Lansing, and as they learn about the Tsunami in Southeast Asia, they also learn they want to help.

With the help of "Foods for Living," students will make healthy snacks to sell. The proceeds will to the relief effort.

At another school down the road, Michigan State University, is also organizing how to best help victims of the disaster.

WILX will broadcast a fundraiser for the Mid-Michigan Chapter of the American Red Cross Wednesday on News Ten starting at 5 p.m.
