Moss Arrested Saturday on 2nd Offense Drunk Driving

Starting running back and MSU football team co-captain Dawan Cedric Moss was dismissed from the team.

Moss was released from a Lansing jail Sunday morning.

Police say Moss was arrested just after midnight when he left the Fake the Funk event at the Lansing Center.

They say he was uncooperative, dragged a police officer with his vehicle and damaged a patrol car. Among the charges: second offense drunk driving, fleeing and eluding police, resisting arrest and open intox.

He was released after spending the night in jail.

Moss faces two years in prison if convicted on all charges.
