Spartan Women Win With Record Crowds

77-34... the game was never in question. The MSU Spartan Women embarrased the Wolverine Women in Breslin on their way to their second Big Ten Regular Season Title in program history - at least a tie, anyway. And they did so in front of more than eight thousand screaming Spartan fans.

The Spartan Women have been playing in front of record crowds all year. Cluminating in last Sunday's home win over then #2 Ohio State. 14-thousand plus saw the MSU Women upset the Buckeyes... a program record.

Also broken this year... the season per-game attendance average. It was smashed. Previously, the game average stood around 5,300 paid fans. That number has now gone well about the six thousand mark.

The Spartan Women must now wait for Ohio State to finish it's season. That will determine if they share the title - or win it outright.
