Tim Mahler with Tripper's Sports Bar in Lansing says their best time of year is the NHL post-season. While he says the business will be fine without hockey this year, they have definately noticed it's absence since the lockout began.

Chris Kurisko with Perani's Hockey Store in East Lansing says while they've seen a drop in some NHL merchandise - he's more concerned about the future of the sport. He says young hockey players need to see their idols on the ice - otherwise they may choose different athletes to follow in different sports.
