To many, Charles Jackson is a hero.
The maintenance worker at Waverly Park apartments warned at least a dozen Lansing families Tuesday of a natural gas leak. The residents were able to escape just moments before the building exploded.
But Jackson said Wednesday he's not a hero. "I’m just doing my job. That's what I'm paid to do."
