Mason Man to Prison for Summer Traffic Deaths

A 34-year-old man convicted of second-degree murder in the traffic deaths of two teenagers is facing 15 to 30 years in prison.

Andrew Gillespie of Mason was sentenced Tuesday in the deaths of 19-year-old Alysha Salt and 16-year-old Robert Bolanowski of Holt.

Gillespie pleaded guilty in December to two counts of second-degree murder and four counts of drunken driving causing serious injury.

The teens were out with friends on August 23 when Gillespie's car collided with theirs.
