Students Arrive Early for MSU-Illinois Game

This is the game Spartan fans have been waiting for, some longer than others. By noon on Tuesday, a group of five MSU students had been waiting outside of the Breslin Center for more than 12 hours.

Chris Andrews was one of them. Andrews wanted to be first in line because with student tickets, seating in the Izzone is on a first come, first served basis. Andrews says he knew other students were planning on arriving around 2 p.m. and he wanted to beat the rush.

The group brought a tent, some textbooks and plenty of warm clothes. They talked sports and school to pass the time until tip-off.
