The "Mind Your Manners" program was piloted this year at Walnut Elementary School. For six weeks, students learned and practiced good manners.
Tuesday, they got the chance to show off their dining etiquette.
Organizers say students do not just learn table manners. They learn a vital life-long lesson: How to be respectful of others.
They say this program will help students become productive, well-mannered citizens in the future.
Organizers hope the program will be included in the curriculum of all Lansing Schools next year.
