Red Robin Waitress Hostage Case Will Move Forward

On October 17, 2004, police say Levon Pate allegedly fired his gun several times. They also say during the crossfire, 18-year-old Levon Pate took a waitress hostage and threatened her life.

There are 18 counts against Pate, including attempted murder, kidnapping, and felony firearms charges. Pate will appear in court again in the beginning of December to make a plea.

The waitress was hit by a bullet during the incident; she is now recovering in a wheelchair.
