State residents donated more than $115,000 to buy gifts for Michigan soldiers deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Attorney General Mike Cox announced the total Wednesday. All together, the money helped send 400 boxes of electronics, food, and sporting goods to 2,000 troops.
The program was promoted by Cox, Governor Jennifer Granholm, and the Michigan Chamber Foundation.
