Lansing Police now know the identity of a woman whose body they discovered inside her north Lansing home Monday afternoon. The woman has been identified as 45-year old Barbara Jean Tuttle.
Tuttle lived at 1017 North Washington Ave. with her roommate, a man in his seventies. He was the one who found her body and called the police. D/Sgt. Noel Garcia, of the Lansing Police Department, says it was obvious Tuttle had put up a struggle. Preliminary autopsy reports show she died from a head injury caused by a blunt object.
Police have been interviewing family and friends, but they still do not have a suspect. If you have any information about Tuttle's death, please call the Lansing Police Department at 517-483-4628.
