Polling Preparations

By  |

From answering phones to answering questions, the Ingham County Clerk's office is buzzing with excitement on the eve of Election Day.

Charlene Corrigan, Ingham County Elections Coordinator, says people are still calling trying to find out if they are registered and where they should vote on Tuesday. Staff expects the phones to be ringing on Tuesday, too.

Polling locations are still pretty quiet, but they won't be soon. Come Tuesday morning, voting machines will be delivered to sites around mid-Michigan, workers will report to duty, and voters will cast their ballots.

Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
