Enrollment Trends for Five Lansing Schools on the Chopping Block

By  |

When Superintendent E. Sharon Banks first announced that five Lansing Schools could be closing, she asked board members to look at issues that could affect a decision either way.

Enrollment Trends was one of those issues, and when taking a closer look, the five schools combined actually gained a total of 16 students. But it may not be the saving grace that could save the schools.

Board members are also taking housing patterns, birth rates, and demographics into account.
