Jackson Schools Brace for Cuts

According to the President of the union representing more then 50 custodians, Steve Raymond, "He expects layoffs in the near future."

Raymond believes that Monday the school board will vote to privatize custodial workers.

Privatization will save about $600,000 for this year says Superintendent of Jackson schools Dan Evans.

Evans must cut about $1.2 million off of this year's budget.
