Now 17 years old, Jamal Sanders pleaded "no contest" to raping a six-year-old in 2001. Two years later he was able to enroll in the Holt school system and then into the Lansing school system where he's now accused of the same crime.
Sanders was arraigned Thursday for battery and assault of a female student at Holt High School. He's also accused of another sexual assault at Eastern High in Lansing.
Representatives of the Holt and Lansing districts tell us it's not their fault Sanders got inside the school. Holt school's superintendent says they don't do background checks on students who enroll. Sanders is in now in the Ingham County Jail.
