MSU Says "Unsafe Behavior" Factor in Assault Increase

By  |

There are important numbers within the numbers of sexual assaults reported to MSU officials. Most of the 11 assaults cited involved a man and a woman who knew each other. Most also involved alcohol.

According to Terry Denbow, VP of University Relations for MSU, these numbers mean MSU is not having a problem with strangers and sexual assaults.

The University is advising students about lighting, locking doors, and not walking alone. More than that, Denbow is asking for students to be in control when drinking and to take care of each other.
