Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox plans to end part of his child support initiative.
He's changing his mind about a contest calling for children to create artwork for a billboard promoting child support payments. Critics say it could hurt children's relationships with their divorcing parents.
Cox says the idea wasn't to turn children against one parent or another, he says it was to address a social problem.
Father's rights groups called the contest insensitive when it was announced three weeks ago.
