Parents Feel Good About Kids' Safety at School

Sam Campbell, a security officer at Everett High School, says response to a fight in the halls of the school was prompt.

Parents attending the homecoming football game that night agreed, vouching for the security at the school.

All parents we talked with said the occasional fight is just a part of high school. They do sometimes worry about guns, but admit the tightness of security in the school fits the area.

Wands are used at football games, but not in the schools at this time.
