The final Chevrolet Cavalier rolled off the assembly line at a GM plant in northeast Ohio early Wednesday morning.
It was a sentimental event for many workers at the Lordstown plant. The plant has produced nearly five million Cavaliers over 22 years' time.
Plant spokesman Tom Mock says there were no special plans for the last Cavalier, so it will end up on a dealer's lot.
The next model to be built at Lordstown is the Chevrolet Cobalt. Production begins the week of October 17.
