More Michigan Soldiers Called to Iraq

More than 150 National Guard soldiers from Michigan are being called to duty in Iraq. Soldiers from the Army National Guard's First Battalion, 119th Field Artillery were scheduled to depart Monday night for Fort Dix, New Jersey. They will train there for at least a month and then head to Iraq.

The soldiers are from Lansing, Port Huron, Alma, Augusta, Charlotte, and Albion. They are expected to serve a year-long security mission in Iraq.
