The state gave him a ringing endorsement, but students at his own Everett High School gave congratulations that were even louder. They honored their award-winning principal with a parade Wednesday.
Glynn won the Michigan "High School Principal of the Year" award in Traverse City on Monday. Students and faculty nominated him for the title, and their ceremony on Wednesday echoed the state's honors. Glynn is known for embracing diversity at Everett. His students and faculty say his is an open door.
Taqoia Harris is a junior at Everett. She says, "He never says no. He always answers your questions as honest as he can."
