Jesse Jackson Speaks at MSU

Jesse Jackson joined Michigan State University students at the Breslin Center. He spoke out against terrorism and war, and he urged people to develop a vision that will help them find peace.

Several hundred students listened to the civil rights leader's speech. Many of them said they hoped the campus would become more unified as a result.

A few protesters held anti-Jesse Jackson posters outside the Breslin Center. They opposed Jackson's view on avoiding expansion of the war on terrorism. Protesters said all terrorists need to be eliminated before the war on terrorism can end and peace can result.
