Several hundred recovering drug abusers rallied at the state capital Saturday in honor of National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month.
People from all over the state made a "Recovery Walk" from the Lou Adado Riverfront Park to the steps of the capital.
Former drug and alcohol abusers shared success stories and offered support to each other. They discussed the importance of rehabilitation in their efforts to recover.
