Bucky Harris Park was the site Wednesday for a remembrance in Jackson of the attacks of Sept. 11.
Hundreds of residents lined the park showing pride in their nation. Members of the Jackson City Police and County Sheriff's Department also took part in the ceremony.
It was a time to remember those lost and honor the efforts of those who risked their lives. The ceremony will help many residents look towards the future.
As part of a Red Cross funding effort, residents purchased cards, celebrating everyday heroes and remembering the victims on 9-11.
