The city of East Lansing is discussing developing the Cedar Village area. That's were several bouts of student unrest have occurred.
Plans include flats and apartments but will target a mixed age range of tenants.
That says City Manager, Ted Staton, is key to helping to quell the possibility of student mob mentality.
Some of the tenants could be graduate students, young professionals, and undergraduate students.
Most who currently live there are undergraduates according to the city.
