Monday, by a unanimous vote, the Lansing city council approved a tax break to help a developer refurbish a century-old building. It will be called "The Arbaugh," named after its original owners in 1904.
The developers plan to turn the old building into 48 loft apartments, and around 20,000 square feet of commercial business space. Karp & Associates still have to go through an application process with the city council, which they will vote on in the next 60 days.
