The faculty at Eastern Michigan University has a new contract with the school.
Union members overwhelmingly voted in favor of the two-year deal Monday.
The contract includes 3.25-percent pay raises each year, tuition reimbursement and family leave benefits extended to domestic partners.
Union officials say the school didn't give guarantees about hiring practices for new professors, one of the sticking points during negotiations.
The 631-member Eastern Michigan chapter had gone on strike when its old contract expired Sept. 5. But a compromise was reached just before the first day of classes.
