Fallen Private First Class Bradley Rappuhn of Grand Ledge returns home Monday.

The 2004 Grand Ledge High School graduate was killed in battle in Afghanistan earlier this month when his unit came under attack.

The body of the local soldier is expected to arrive at Capitol Region International Airport at 9:30 a.m. on Monday.

Community members are asked to line the motorcade route with American flags and salute the fallen soldier as he passes by.

The motorcade will travel on Grand River to M-100 into Grand Ledge and along Bridge St. to Peters and Murray Funeral Home.

Residents are asked to begin lining up along the route around 9 a.m.
