GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) -- An animal shelter in Grand Rapids is looking for people willing to adopt 10 dogs that were rescued in November.

The dogs include a 13-year-old Lab mix with only three legs. One of the legs was amputated years ago in an incident that's not related to the neglect case.

The Kent County Animal Shelter intervened when a Grand Rapids woman failed to improve living conditions for the dogs. Now the shelter is looking for big-hearted animal lovers who want to open their homes to the dogs.

Adoptions cost $82 and include vaccinations and a microchip. Call (616) 632-7300 for more information.
