GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) -- Police say a 21-year-old has died following a weekend brawl outside a Grand Rapids entertainment complex.
The Grand Rapids Press reports Gregory William Barker died at an area hospital on Saturday morning, several hours after a fight outside The B.O.B. club.
Police say Barker had internal bleeding caused by blunt force trauma to the abdomen. Police say Barker was part of a group barhopping downtown that got into a dispute with another group. Officers were called about 1:10 a.m. Saturday. Investigators say Barker's group was coming out of The B.O.B. and the other group was arriving on a party bus.
Officers then were called about 9:30 a.m. Saturday to Barker's parents' house on a medical call. He was taken to the hospital with with injuries related to the fight.
