Update: Quality Dairy Robbed In Lansing

LANSING - A man robs a Quality Dairy store on Lansing's north side late Sunday night, and doesn't even say he has a weapon. The robbery took place in the 1200 block of West Willow Street at about 11:30PM Sunday. Two employees were in the QD at the time. They tell police the 6-foot tall man was wearing a mask on the lower half of his face, when he walked into the store and directly behind the counter. There he quickly demanded the clerk to give him cash, which the clerk did. The man then ordered the two employees into a back room, and left on foot.

The police were called, and they attempted to track the robber using a dog, but the track ended only a little more than a block away, leading police to believe the man got into a car.

The thief is described as a black male, 40-50 years old, 6-foot tall, 220 pounds. He was wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt, with Michigan University 'M' on the back. He wore blue shorts over his black pants, and some sort of a mask covering the lower half of his face.
