Saturday in Old Town, Lansing, A unique art festival featured scrap metal sculptures.
Each year, Friedland Industries donates scrap metal for the artists to use. This year, 17 teams of artists are competing for three top prizes.
One artist, Ian Markiw, and three other artists created a sculpture of a fiddler that uses wind power to move the fiddler's arm back and forth as if he's actually playing.
40% of the proceeds from the festival will be awarded to top three winning teams, and the rest will support future Old Town redevelopment efforts by the Old Town Commercial Association.
