709 Pounds of Prescription Drugs Collected

Michigan State Police collected hundreds of pounds of unused and expired medicine during National Drug Take Back Day last weekend.

709 pounds were collected at the 29 MSP posts around the state on Saturday, April 27. The service was free and anonymous with no questions asked.

MSP partnered with the DEA and other law enforcement agencies as a part of an effort to provide a safe, convenient and responsible place for people to dispose of their unused medicine.
