Dozens of protesters have waved signs and beat drums to protest Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's appearance at a mid-Michigan pie shop.
Romney is making three stops Tuesday in Michigan. Several hundred supporters listened to him and his wife Ann speak in front of the striped awning of the Sweetie-licious Bakery in downtown DeWitt.
Across the street, protesters chanted, "We are the 99 percent!" One woman held a sign proclaiming "Romney has always been a bully."
Romney supporter Imogene McNeilly of St. Johns sat in a lawn chair fanning herself in the hot sunshine. The 80-year-old says she likes the GOP candidate's policies and the fact he's from Michigan.
Another supporter held a sign bearing a soldier's photo and the words, "My dad needs a new commander in chief."

The protestors were paid and they didn't even know why they were there. I hope these new reporters are being trained to report facts. We've got enough lib bias in the national media, now we've got to hear it locally?

'dozens' makes it sound like there was between 24 to 96 people there who had opinions against Romney. There might have been that many if you counted all of the media people there.

I hate to break it to everyone but all politicians are in the 1%. The bottom 10% needs to find something new to stand for.
