LANSING -- Voters have the opportunity Thursday to learn about one of the lesser-known U.S. Senate candidates.
Gary Glenn, the Tea Party nominee, is speaking at the party's Eaton County branch town hall meeting. It starts at 7:00 p.m. at Tony M's Restaurant at 3420 S. Creyts Road in Lansing.
Glenn pushed for right-to-work laws in the past and touts his free market healthcare reform. He's also served as president of the American Family Association of Michigan for the last 12 years.
Current Senator Democrat Debbie Stabenow is also running. Pete Hoekstra and Clark Durant are the primary contenders for the Republican Party.
