An early morning joy ride tops tonight's News Ten Neighborhood Crime Watch.
Around 1:15 Tuesday morning Jackson Police were alerted to a wreckless driver in the area of Ganson and Steward streets.
An officer saw a dodge pickup going the wrong way on Steward, and after running its plates found out it was stolen.
After a short pursuit the driver lost control at Cooper and Franklin, ran over the curb and struck a pole.
The three occupants ran, but were caught after a short foot chase.
The driver is a 15 year old boy, accompanied by two 17 year old girls.
The three face a range of charges, from stolen vehicle, fleeing and eluding police, to resisting arrest.
The Eaton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a breaking and entering at P-and-K R-V at 23-34 South Michigan Road in Eaton Rapids.
Several trailers were broken into and electronics were stolen.
The Ingham County Sheriff's Office received a vandalism report from the 21-hundred block of East Colombia Road in Aurelius Township, a vehicle parked there had its tires slashed.
