• 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour or white whole wheat flour
• 2 tsp. baking powder
• ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
• ¼ cup packed brown sugar
• 1 cup old-fashioned oats
• 1 cup fresh cranberries or dried cranberries
Directions1. Layer ingredients in mason quart-sized mason jar.
2. Make label/tag with instructions to attach to mason jar, that state:
a. Needed wet ingredients:
i. 1 cup milk or milk substitute
ii. 1 egg
iii. 1 tsp vanilla
iv. 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
b. To make the pancakes, dump contents of jar into large bowl. Add milk, egg, vanilla and butter, and stir until combined. Batter will be a little lumpy.
c. Pour by 1/3 cupfuls onto greased hot skillet. Cook until edges are dry and bubbles appear on the surface, about 3 minutes. Turn, and cook on other side 2 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter.
d. Serve with maple syrup, as desired. Enjoy!
