A Series of Tornadoes passed through Michigan this week.

On Thursday afternoon, the National Weather Service reported that a tornado briefly touched in the Upper Peninsula in Menominee County.

This is the sixth confirmed tornado in the Upper Peninsula this summer, which is an unusually high number.

On Friday, another tornado touched down in lower Michigan.

An EF-0 tornado struck Allegan County. There are reports that the tornado caused power outages for hundreds of residents. This was the first tornado to hit lower Michigan this year.
