Twitter adds new guidelines to protect users

Twitter is implementing several new changes to better protect users from abuse and harassment.

The move comes after users boycotted the social media site for suspending Actress Rose McGowan for speaking out against Harvey Weinstein.

The new guidelines include a tougher stance on non-consensual nudity and make it easier for people to report unwanted sexual advances.

Twitter will also take new action on hate symbols, imagery and threats of violence.
