Snow shoveling tips to help prevent health risks

With many people experiencing these cold, snowy days, the American Heart Association is offering some tips to help prevent the health risks that can come with the weather.

The Heart Association says when shoveling, take frequent breaks, to make sure you're not putting too much stress on your heart.

Also, don't drink alcohol before, during, or immediately after shoveling, as it can cause you to underestimate the strain on your body.

And finally, wear lots of layers of warm clothing to help trap your body heat.
