WILX A heads up for Twinkie lovers. Hostess is recalling a limited edition of the snack because eating them could make you sick.
The recall involves the company's limited edition Holiday White Peppermint Twinkies that were sold in multi-pack boxes with nine individually wrapped treats.
The FDA issued the recall because the milk powder used to make them has been recalled because it could be contaminated with salmonella.
No illnesses have been reported. And so far, none of the samples collected have tested positive for salmonella, according to the FDA.
Customers are asked to stop eating the treats and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
