Neighbors riled up over Anti-Trump Halloween display in yard

CORTLANDT MANOR - A Halloween Display involving a tombstone of President Donald Trump is sparking outrage in a neighborhood in Cortlandt, New York.

"D Trump Burn in Hell" is what is written on a tombstone. Next to the grave marker is a mock crime scene roped off with yellow tape, and something that resembles a body wrapped in a trash bag.

"Halloween is supposed to be fun, not about trying to kill the president of the United States,” says Theresa Gucciardo-Perry.

Neighbors like Gucciardo-Perry who live near the home are furious and say the display is distasteful and goes to far. She wants it taken down immediately. When she confronted the homeowner Fabian Vergara, a verbal argument broke out about politics.
Vergara is an immigrant, and Gucciardo-Perry wants him out of the neighborhood.
If you don't want to live the way we live in our country then you need to leave" said Gucciardo-Perry to Fabian.

Vergara argued it was his home and he can do what he likes. He says it was just a joke. However, he did apologize and offered to remove the Trump crime scene. The decorations are still up.
Other neighbors who live across the street say it is a free country and they don't really care either way. Gucciardo-Perry insists she wants the decorations out of the neighborhood and called city officials to see if the town could enforce Vergara to remove it.
