A Detroit native is reportedly among sixteen military servicemen killed in a plane crash.
According to the Detroit Free Press... 31 year old Julian Kevianne was on the KC-130 tanker when it spiraled into a Mississippi soybean field on Monday.
Family members say Kevianne was a Marine sergeant, who enlisted in 2009 to protect and defend the country.
Fifteen Marines and a Navy sailor were killed.
The crash happened outside the small town of Bena, about 85 miles north of Jackson, Mississippi.
The plane was based at Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh, New York, where Sergeant Kevianne was stationed.
The Marine Corp says the cause of the crash is under investigation.
