LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - 40 to 125 years in prison....that's how long the state Attorney General's office is asking an Ingham County judge to sentence former MSU gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar for sexual assault charges.
The 125-years represents one year for every woman or girl who reported to police that Nassar sexually assaulted them.
Back in November, Nassar pleaded guilty to a total of 10 sexual assault charges between Ingham and Eaton County.
He faces a minimum sentence of between 25 and 40 years in prison on those charges.
Nassar's sentencing hearing in Ingham county starts next Tuesday.
A judge has set aside the entire week because more than 100 victims have been invited to speak at the sentencing.
Nes 10 will have coverage of the sentencing all next week.
