LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -- Two Michigan State University students delivered hundreds of homemade Halloween cards to be distributed at Sparrow for those who won't be out of the hospital in time for trick-or-treating.

Yamani Vinson of Grand Rapids came up with the idea of making cards for hospitalized children and Tyler Logan of Pontiac reached out to Sparrow.

Several MSU related organizations such as the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, the Black Student Alliance, and a few grad school classes helped make the cards.

There were at least 275 hand-made cards in total.
