LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Action of Greater Lansing held a press conference Saturday morning to support Muslims and immigrants.

The meeting took place at Union Missionary Baptist Church in Lansing.

Several people spoke out to criticize President Trump's executive orders.

One man in attendance is uncertain of his future.

"My son is with me today and we don't know what's going to happen in the next couple of days,” said one man who spoke in front of the group. “We know with the new administration maybe a lot of arrests are going to come through so we hope the community takes action and helps us."

Action for Greater Lansing focuses on access to specialized healthcare for all children, enforcing basic human rights for all people, including immigrant, and pursues an end to systemic racism in Mid-Michigan.
